What we do

One tradesman, three very different jobs.

The work in these photos runs from a bedroom split system, to a chiller run full of wine, to the condenser stack on a Case IH Magnum. It is all one trade, and out here it has to be.

A long run of glass door upright display fridges labelled Chilled Wine and Sparkling Wine, serviced by MixAir

Commercial refrigeration

A full run of chilled and sparkling wine cabinets. When this fails, stock goes out the door, so it does not wait until Monday.

Repairs

Fixed where it can be fixed.

That photo is a unit opened right up, the control board lifted out, meter across the terminals. It is the difference between being told a system is dead and finding out which part of it actually is.

Sometimes the fault gets found and sorted in the same visit. One customer had a quote booked for a Saturday morning and the job was done before Michael left.

The detail

The bits nobody photographs.

A split system is mostly hidden work. Whether the copper was bent properly, whether the line was insulated, whether the roof got flashed or just siliconed. It is the part that decides if you are calling someone back in two summers.

Could not recommend Michael and Trish enough. Had to relocate air-conditioning to a new place which was in a difficult position. When we phoned Trish was very professional and polite. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Michael was very thoughtful and cheerful. He cleaned up after, which is a blessing. Thanks

Michael did a fast check showing something hadn't functioned properly when I turned AC on. Probably my fault.

Who you get

Michael turns up. Trish answers the phone.

That is who you deal with, and it is why the reviews read the way they do. You are not passed between a call centre and a subcontractor. You ring the number, Trish picks up, and Michael is the one who arrives with the truck in that photo.

MixAir works out of Childers and covers the district around it. The gear on the back of the truck is what lets one operation cover a house, a cold room and a tractor cab.
